Why I Created Berryohlogy: A Pharmacist’s Perspective
Skincare has always fascinated me — but becoming a pharmacist changed the way I looked at it.
As a pharmacist, I’ve spent years understanding ingredients, formulations and how different products work. I naturally became someone who would read labels, question ingredients and think about whether a product genuinely had a purpose beyond simply looking beautiful on the shelf.
That mindset eventually led me to create Berryohlogy.
Where it all began
The inspiration behind Berryohlogy started with one remarkable ingredient — Sea Buckthorn oil.
I was drawn to this vibrant little berry and its naturally rich oil, known for containing a variety of fatty acids and naturally occurring antioxidant compounds.
The beautiful golden-orange colour of the oil was only the beginning. The more I learned about Sea Buckthorn, the more I wanted to explore how this botanical ingredient could become part of a thoughtful skincare routine.
And so, Berryohlogy began to take shape.
A pharmacist’s approach to skincare
For me, skincare isn't about having a complicated 10-step routine.
It is about understanding what you're using and choosing products with intention.
My pharmacist background has made me naturally curious about formulations. I look at skincare through two lenses — the science behind the ingredients and the experience of using the product.
With Berryohlogy, I wanted to bring those two worlds together.

The name Berryohlogy reflects the story at the heart of our brand — exploring the wonderful world of berries and their botanical potential.
At the centre of that story is Sea Buckthorn.
From its bright orange berries to its precious golden oil, it has become an ingredient that represents what Berryohlogy stands for: curiosity, nature and purposeful skincare.
From my pharmacy journey to your skincare shelf
Creating Berryohlogy has been a very personal journey.
It combines my background in pharmacy with my love of skincare, my curiosity about natural ingredients and my desire to create something meaningful.
Every product is part of that journey.
And while Berryohlogy started with a berry, it is really about something much bigger — taking a moment for yourself and making your everyday skincare ritual feel a little more special.
